album & video

Could someone please tell me why albums and videos take SO LONG to get back :(

I was told it will be no less than 16 weeks.

its like by that point, the thrill of it all is kinda gone :(

Well, they do have other albums to do.
My album took about 4 months or so to finish.

The thrill may seem to be gone, but trust me, a little distance from it will do you good. Everything will be so much more interesting to look at once you've had a chance to stop looking at it for a while! It kind of gives you a new perspective.

Our video takes awhile but you can get yoru raw footage early and Im hoping that will tie me over until teh real video is ready! Im very exciteda nd teh wait is hard, but when ya think that you will have it for a lifetime, whats a fwe months to wait? Easier said than done I know, I am counting the days as speak. Maybe check and see if you can have your raw footage

i think that you will see the wedding in a whole new light when you get your video back so things will have faded a little and some things because of the day being hectic you might have missed all together. i think seeing it after that time will make you get all giddy and that newly married feeling again lol. i agree about the raw footage though there was so much that i didnt remember because of having to make the rounds and dance etc... so seeing the raw footage really helped and it is tying me over untill i get my video in the middle of march

In all honesty, I enjoy my pictures more now then I did when we received the proofs. With time, I became more objective about how I looked in each and every photo and they now remind me of the day which was the point:D

The video is hilarious! I love watching our video!

I agree- by the time I got them all my pics for the album and video, I was sick of looking at them. I was told 3 months and was happy for the break! I will appreciate it more when I get it.
