All-inclusive honeymoons: who did it?

Hi! I'm writing an article for a magazine about all-inclusive resorts as honeymoon and even wedding options. I'm looking for newlyweds to quote on the subject. If you're interested, please drop me a line at [email protected]. I'll e-mail you a few interview questions-- basically, I'm just looking for your experiences and recommendations. Are you glad you went the all-inclusive route? Why did you choose this? Were there any 'surprises?' What was the atmosphere like at your resort?

Thanks!

Re: All-inclusive honeymoons: who did it?

I don't know if this counts, but we are going on a cruise. Except for alcohol, shore excursions, and air fare, it is pretty much all inclusive. We don't leave for another week, but if this goes with what you mean, I'd be glad to answer questions when we get back.

Heidi

I went on an all-inclusive that was unbelievable! The Royal Hideaway in Mexico! I definitely recommend it! I don't know if you are familiar with 'The Leading Hotels of The World' but its the only all-inclusive in the world on the list!!

Re: All-inclusive honeymoons: who did it?

Thank you, awesome people.

I have plenty of responses now, so no need to contact me if you haven't already. (Oh, and I think my editor just wants me to talk about resorts for this article... maybe I'll do the next one on cruises!)
