started a new painting, after months of a creative lull...

DH just came into the room and said:
'All is right in the world when you're painting...'

He's right... I'm content and ((quiet))

poor guy...

These are great. I LOVE the pooh mural. i always said when we have kids Id want to do this BUT...I can't paint on walls for beans. I can't paint on an easel either. I have to lay stuff on the floor. I am anvious....

Actually, most of the time, I hold the canvas in my hand...

And when I draw, I lay on the floor with my knees tucked under my belly causing me to stick my @ss up in the air (sometimes)... I tell this story b/c when I was in college, I was drawing story boards for a video project, and the frat boy neighbors came into our apartment and shot me in the @ss with a bee bee gun... Because... 'THATS THE FIRST THING THEY SAW...'

Thats hwo I am too when i paint or draw anything in large format. Its on the ground. Crap i forget to send myself the picture of my bacdrop for the rainforest skit..I have to do it tonight.
