SO when my one year anniversary rolls around, mt daughter will be 3 weeks old so going away is out of the question. My dilema is do we
1) go out to dinner and leave the baby with my MIL 2) go out to dinner and take the baby with us 3) stay home and cook dinner and hang out with the baby

I'd say #1. It might be really tough for you to leave your daughter so soon, but I think a night out for just the 2 of you on your 1st anniversary is something that couples need to do in order to keep your relationship healthy.

Re: Anniversary ideas
First off I would see how you feel 3 weeks after the baby. If you are feeling up to it, I would go with option 1 & go out alone with your DH. Once the baby comes, you will not want to leave her but you need to make special time for your DH & you alone.
If you are not 100% yourself, cook or bring something special in & have dinner the 3 of you!

I agree....knowing we cannot on that night is a real bummer for me. So I think a romantic dinner is the best idea. Thanks girls, now how to work around breast feeding, that is the question. Hopefully I can slip her a bottle of breast milk that will keep her happy for a few hours.......

#1. You should celebrate - at least for a few hours - just the two of you.

I would wait and see how you feel. If not up to going out maybe order in from a nice place and have a private candlelight dinner of your own while the baby is sleeping
