DH and I were thinking of going on a trip but since $$ is TIGHT we want to do a budget friendly little extended weekend in April. I was thinking of just us driving somewhere- maybe Montauk or Boston or even Maine (I have a prius so gas $$ is not an issue)
Anyone have any suggestions on a nice romantic trip for us to take in mid to late April???

we loved Portsmouth, NH. Also Bar Harbor ME - gorgeous. I just think you need 3 nights b/c they are a tad far.
Oh yea totally- we're not really restricted on nights. Any suggestions on places to stay?

portsmouth is great - it was our first vacation together. cute town, yummy restaurants. we stayed at the Sheraton I believe which was right on the harbour... had a nice view and a junior suite and i remember it being really cheap. we took a ride to boston one night b/c it was the playoffs and had dinner with friends while watching the yankee game. I think Boston was only an hour away.
Bar Harbour is seriously beautiful - I stayed at the Bar Harbor inn which is pricey but maybe not so bad in April - not high season yet. Tons of cute B&Bs though, you can't go wrong. Must eat BlueBerry pancakes and lobster!

you should spend the weekend at a B&B!! thats what we were gonna do... but now we found an AWESOME deal on st. martin so we are going there instead
