Anniversary trip!

So where is everyone going??

DH and I just started discussing this today and we can't decide where to go. We're torn between the Caribbean, California or Costa Rica.

I LOVED Turks and Caicos but DH thinks we should experience somewhere different and save Turks for when we have kids so we can go to Beaches resort

I'm thinking maybe St. Lucia...Idk what is everyone else doing??

Re: Anniversary trip!

Hard decision for you, all those places sound nice!

For our anniversary we are not sure yet. I am off that day since it's columbus day. So, we might go somewhere for the weekend. We are doing a big trip to Italy in August though. 2 weeks. Luckily, I have family there so we will save on hotels.

Re: Anniversary trip!

We were thinking about Cabo or the Carribbean. Not sure yet either! I wanted to do St. Lucia but it seems a little pricey.

Italy was my 1st choice! We would go but we would need at least 2 weeks off work for that trip and DH doesn't want to eat up all his time off. Have a great time!

Re: Anniversary trip!

I would either do Costa Rica or the Caribbean both are really nice and exotic, not something you see all the time.
California is nice, but i would rather get out of the US

My parents just got back from 10 days in Costa Rica and loved it!

Now that I think of it, I agree with you! Plus Cali is something I can easily do with kids one day. I want to do something that I won't be able to do once I have a family, great idea!

Re: Anniversary trip!

They did a tour that also included 2 days at a super nice resort....it was Caravan and a very good deal. 10 days, all meals, hotels, and tours for $1000 pp plus airfare. We are looking at doing it next year instead of doing it ourselves....even though I usually love planning our trips. This one seems like such a good deal and no planning

Re: Anniversary trip!

FYI, Travelzoo.com has a deal to Costa Rica in today's Top 20. Don't know anything about it, but it sounds amazing.
