Anniversary Weekend

I can't believe how 1 year flies on by! Our honeymoon friends from Aruba (who live in CT) came down for a visit from Saturday to Sunday. We took them out east to the wineries and I stopped and got mums. What a crappy day though.



On Monday (our actual anniversary) we went down to Smithtown Landing to reminisce. It was the beautiful, fall day I wanted last year!



This is me outside of where we had our reception.


Gary SO did not want to take pics, but I made him!




We stopped at a farmstand...




We went to my BIL and SIL's and they made us dinner and we played with our 2 year old twin nephews...they are to DIE for, so cute and fun!





This was my anniversary present from Gary.


And we ended the day off with our cake that was surprisingly good and still fresh!


It was a very nice day!

How did I ever miss this thread, 1) it had peekshures, 2 it had peekshures and 3 you get my drift congrats Stace, you look even more beautiful a year later. That cake looks awesome. What was the filling. Those pix are great, what a wonderful present your hubby gave you. What did you give to him ??? Thanks for sharing, I felt like I was there. Happy anniversary, may you have many, many more happy ones.

Awww Shamma Mamma...you didn't see my PEEEEKSURES! I guess I should have wrote that in my subject title!

My cake had chocolate mousse filling, it was very good, twice around!

I got Gary Rangers tickets, we are going this weekend.
