Anniversary weekend on Long Island?

Our 1 year is in Oct., and while we would like to do something that weekend, we are going to Italy in Sept. and do not want to spend and arm and a leg!! Any ideas for B&B's out East? Suggestions welcomed!!

A winery tour is a good idea. I am so confused. Now I am thinking about staying in the city and seeing a show!

I like that idea too. I just would check how much is open in October out east.....I know when we would drive out to Montauk for our wedding plans it was a ghost town with alot of places boarded up during the off season.
