How long were you or your DH unemployed? While they were looking for a new job, did they take a part time job to keep some money coming in?

My DH lost his job in June (the wedding was in Oct), he worked with his brother for about 2 1/2 months and got a job the end of August (so some money was coming in). I lost my job a week before the wedding and still are looking for something (haven't been doing anything on the side - bad wife)

I got laid off at the end of January when I was almost 5 months pregnant and haven't been looking for a new job yet. I will start looking 6-8 weeks after our baby is born, so probably in mid July. The only income I'm bringing in is unemployment.

My husband has been laid off since Thanksgiving. It has been financially hard and real hard to start off a marriage but we are getting through it. He works teaching some classes but also gets unemployment.
I just hope something comes soon.
