I was crying after i got my hair done, because thats when the rain really started coming down, and then that stupid Alanis Morrisette song came on while i was at the hair salon....'Its like raaa-eeee-aaain on your wedding day!', I started to laugh uncontrollably when that song came on! The whole salon started laughing and i yelled out 'I hate this song!'

i started to cry in the middle of saying the vows but quickly pulled myself together!

i threw my bo-k to my mom while she danced with my dad. It was their 43rd wedding anniversary that night! No garter ceremony!

Veil - $250 - so expensive but it so completed the dress and my parents loved it and got it for me since i paid for the dress. I wore it all day and night!

Fall colors - brown dresses with orange, yellow and red flowers - so pretty!

DH literally diving across the whole dance floor to get to me to remove my garter!!! No one knew he was gonna do it though, so we barely have it on camera!

Just 1 and it was a nightmare thanks to my MOH and SIL not getting along, so 1 was more than enough for me!

I actually did not cry! Granted, I had a Xanax in me, but I was still a little surprised. I teared up a little during the 'Hand Prayer' and during my dance with my dad, but that was it.

We gave out 4x6 photo albums as the favors - not sure if that is what this question is asking?

My MOH caught the Bo-K and my brother caught the garter

Deacon Brian Mannix and he was great!

My dress was pretty cheap! Between the dress and alterations prices, I think I paid a total of $600 or so. I didn't wear a bra (good thing about lack of boobs LOL) so I got off pretty easy I'd say!

Oh my goodness YES! The dance floor was PACKED from start to finish! It was awesome!!!

21.Would you go back and do it over again?

I think I would actually... minus the planning part LOL! I would make sure that DH and I actually ate and socialized with everyone this time around!

2 - one on LI that I knew about and one surprise one in Philly (where I lived, and where MIL's family mostly lives)

No, but I BAWLED on the way home from the RD on Friday night....just overwhelmed with emotion. Only my mom saw haha....

Yes, but just something small. We did cookie cutters with 2 Baci chocolates and our favorite sugar cookie recipe.

As I said, DH's 10-year-old cousin caught the garter, and his 19-year-old sister caught the bo-k. It was hilarious!

well, the only undergarment I wore was my Mrs. Lynch boyshorts, which I think were like $15. The dress was $1150+tax and alterations....overall probably like $1500.

I totally would, it was so much fun! BUT I would never be able to justify spending the money again, and I plan to be with DH forever, so oh well! Maybe a 25th Anniversary party someday....

We planned in about 10 months. Got engaged in July 07 and married in June 08, but we didn't start planning until August 07.

It would be an afternoon ceremony...I didn't sleep at all the night before and I had to be up at 4:30 to get ready. By the end of the reception I was exhausted and we still had an afterparty.

Yes-we made wine and bottled it and got labels. It's pretty good wine too. A lot of people drank it and told us they liked it.

My sister and so she told her friend who is gay to catch the garter. It was pretty funny!

Our friend Andrew got ordained on the internet and we had such a personal ceremony because he, DH and I planned it out together. None of our family realized that he was our friend and they asked if it was his first ceremony because we were all crying lol.

We had a BBQ, cupcakes and some different music. It was awesome and our guests really liked everything and it represented us.

Nope....I thought I might but I don't regret a thing. A lot of people said oh 6 is too big-hard to plan but those 6 girls are the closest to me and I'm really glad they were all there for me on that day.

A few funny things happened during the ceremony, one of which was my dad got confused and went and sat down. Pastor April asked 'Who gives this woman to be married to this man?' and he wasn't paying attention till someone nudged him and said 'Ron, they're 'calling you' ' at which point he jumped up and yelled 'Oh! That's me!' Everyone was lauging, it was great.

The boys wore kilts (!), we had a bagpiper, instead of a flower girl, my little cousin presented us with a lucky horseshoe at the end of the cermony (British custom), we had a handfasting in addition to a ring exchange and we had TOTAL control over the music - a lot of stuff we liked (punk, reggae, etc.) and I did A LOT of DIY.
