another name change q..

another name change q..

so i went to SS and the DMV and i should be getting new docs in the mail in 2 weeks or so.... i can't change my info at work (payroll and benefits) until i get my SS card so do you think i should hold off on changing my name at my bank?? not sure if its safe to change my name at my bank if my paychecks are still being made out to my maiden name... just wanted to see what you girls did... thanks!

I changed my name at work when I received my SS card ... I didn't get around to changing it at my bank until a month and a half later ... so I think you should be OK. (I have BOA for what it's worth.)

I changed my name at work and with Paychex and I haven't begun the name change process (fiasco with license ) and they are depositing my paycheck with no problems

I changed my name at the bank already. I mailed in me SS info the SS office just less than 2 weeks ago. As soon as I get it back I will change everything at work. I got my last direct deposit!

My payroll company said to change the name at the bank first & then with them. They have seen too many issue where they have a problem with direct deposit.
