GOT ENGAGED LAST NIGHT!!!!!
My house phone rang at 1:45 in the morning and of course my heart starts racing but Matt & I can't find the phone.....so I hear the answering pick up and my friend says on the machine 'Devon, I need you to call me back as soon as possible' So her being engaged never crossed my mind b/c she is in Chicago for business....at 1:45 in the morning, I forgot her FH Jon was with her....so now I'm shaking running around like a lunatic b/c our caller id wasn't working and for the life of me I couldn't think of her cell#...so I grab my cell and I'm like 'omg Matt my cell is off...' Mind you this whole time, I'm thinking something horrible happened. I finally listen to my voicemail from her on my cell and it says to call Jons cell...WHICH I DON'T HAVE lol...so I run out to the kitchen and look at the caller ID there and his # was there...thank god.....so I call, she answers & I'mm 'OMG ARE YOU OK?' and she says 'I'M ENGAGED DEV....' I in turn say 'Marci OMG I thought someone was dead....' then SCREAMED!! lol![]()
