I just saw this on channel 7 (can't sleep). This is sooo sad. Another airplane that was headed to Islip earlier was forced to land in Las Vegas because of a firey engine...What's going on!!!
My prayers go out to the families of the 49 people in this plane tragedy

Such a horrible thing. I feel so bad for those that lost someone... This is why I am so scared to fly.

Heard about it this morning. So sad
I heard one woman on the plane was the wife of a 9/11 survivor and she was going to Buffalo to celebrate his bday with family. How sad.

i heard that too. I think she was a 9/11 widow. so horrible for the family to go through two huge tragedies.
