Another QOTD...

Another QOTD...

What was your least favorite part of your wedding planning and why?

Mine was the stress of getting everything done in 7 months. I feel like I overlooked a couple of small details...like I booked my hair person in a rush because I was so tired of vendor shopping !

Waiting for RSVPs!! We invited 272 people and STILL didn't make our minimum of 150.. It was awful! Luckily we were only like 2 people short but when the RSVP date came we were still missing over 80 rsvps.. Definitely the most stressful part of the wedding planning process!

Mine was doing table settings with my in-laws...somehow it turned into us not 'consulting them' (when we called to ask their opinion...hmmm) and ended in a huge fight only to have them call us back and say 'You were right...it has to be this way.' I'm telling you our families were the biggest stressors for us!

Mine was all of the last minute stuff at the end.... the seating chart, people changing their RSVPs at last minute (not coming or adding a guest)... it got so bad that at the end I was soooooo over it- just wanted to get married and go on our honeymoon already!

My least favorite part was the seating chart. I also didn't like writing thank you cards. I know that's not really part of the wedding 'planning' process.

THe STRESS!!!!! Up to the day of the wedding it was always about a certain Bridesmaid not chipping in and always had to run her mouth about something..Luckliy I had no choice to kick her out...other than that It would be putting together my table place cards..they were picture frames and we had to un screw it and slide the stand on the back of the frame..took hours and no one offered to help..Me and my husband did most of the work!!!!

Picking the date... we reserved our date but then it became this huge problem. We almost moved it to another date but were going to have to do it elsewhere and my heart was already set on Lands End. I was in tears. It worked out though.

Ooh yeah, the seating chart was horrible. And after all the work I did about 10 people didn't show up and many were people who were at problem tables, if I had known they weren't coming life would have been easier.

I would say it was probably dealing with the stress of all the stuff I was not supposed to find out about...such as bridal party drama...and the penny pinching was hard, too. Then again, we are still doing that because now we need to try to save for a house!

We had a few last minute cancellations too...after we had given our final count. Oh well...what matters is we are now with our Dhs!!

bachlorette party --- i cancelled it.. it is still a very sore subject for me. it really hurts when you are there for others and then they arent for you.

definatinately the most hurtful...

then of course the situation with my cousin ashley and her liver transplant. She is doing wonderful now. But it was hard to grasp what was happening, and losing her and her mom as BM's.

i found out after the fact that she was actually in the hospital on my wedding day.

I second that. I love DIY stuff, but I was up to my elbows in paper, ribbons, and glue the week before the wedding.

You all had such good ideas!

I hated not being able to enjoy planning as much during the school year- it only stressed me.

Then at the VERY end I thought I was going to lose my mind.

I cried for 5 hours one day...
