I'm wondering how long the T/U pictures take to be ready, and given the fact that DH and I might re-shoot our couple shots, that might delay the T/U picture even longer.
So how long is okay to wait before sending out the T/U????
Do you have to send a regular thank you while you're waiting for the picture ones???
DUH???
Help!

Re: Another THANK YOU question....
They say that your thanks yous should be out within 3 months of the wedding, I tried to get them out in under that but I waited forever for my thank you pics to be done. If you are reshooting pics, I would send out a written thank you in the meantime and tell them a picture will come as soon as they are done. This is my opinion though because I think thank yous should be done promptly.
Does this help?

Re: Another THANK YOU question....
my Thank you pics took 2 weeks to come in from the date we picked out the pic. In the mean time, my photographer gave me the cards to write out while I was waiting for the pics to come in. You should have them out within 3 months bit I know some people who did not send them out until 6 month afer the wedding. Hope this helps.

Re: Another THANK YOU question....
Thank you pics are usually done pretty quick - as long as you dont dawdle on picking out the picture. They know you want to send them out. You can always start writing them out in advance and then just slip the pics in when you get the pictures. Definitely don't make double work for yourself by sending TY's without a pic and them having to send the pic afterwards, you'll have plenty of time.

I would probably NOT reshoot the TY card photo and use one that you currently have. It will be a lot easier to get these done sooner rather than later.

I dont think it matters too much. Provided your thank yous go out within a few months after the wedding (whether that is 1 or 4, I dont think is too important to most people).
