Another TY Question...

Another TY Question...

I go to grad school part time at night. It's a group of 15 of us that have been together since September and will be together through May 2007 at graduation. I love these people!

Anyway, no one was invited to the wedding but the week I returned to school they had a cake and soda and gave me a very generous gift card to Fortunoff's (where I was registered). Also - three professor's went in on it too. Not sure if it matters but it was probably about $10-12 each person. The whole thing was awesome and a complete surprise and it put me in a good mood for like a week after

Anyway, how do I handle those TY's...
Do I mail them or bring them into school?
Do they get a pic too (we're doing wallets) or just a card?
Boxed TY's or our wedding ones?

I just did boxed TY's for my job (the people who didn't come to my wedding but had a little work shower for me)- I think thats fine, if you have addresses mail them but if not I think it would be fine if you brought them to school and gave them out.

I say if you have extra wedding ones and extra photos then go ahead and use them, if not a boxed thank you is fine.

I think that's a good idea. What a nice surprise!

Re: Another TY Question...

I'm not supposed to be on this board, but I snuck on anyway. The people in my old internship at school did something similar for my friend Tom who got married last semester...all chipped in like $25 and sent him a very nice gift certificate to Fortunoff (he was registered there also). After he got the gift (he was very appreciative) he called me and I gave him everybody's email address. He sent separate thank you emails to everyone, and we all felt it was entirely appropriate.
