Any husbands out there....
obsessed with video games??? FH used to never be but he finally got playstation 3 and he is always playing games.. last saturday 6 hours of call of duty.. the other night 5 hours of monopoly.. does it ever end??? just curious

Yes. It slows down. I bought DH the PS3 the year it came out. Now he plays it once a week for a little while.

Omg yes! He is constantly playing NHL 11. Then for Christmas he got Black Ops and Red Dead Redemption. When we lived apart it was much worse (like he stayed up once playing Metal Gear Solid for 10 hour straight) so now he plays when I'm at work and he's home or when I'm in bed so I don't mind as much. We have different work schedules so it kind of works out lol

OMG my DH LIVES on Xbox 360. His favorites are the Call of Duty and Gears of War games. He is so ridiculous with his gamer chair and headset. He literally plays for 3-4 hours every day...longer than that if its a weekend. I used to nag him a lot about it..but after a while I gave up. I'd rather have him at home (where I know what he is doing) than out at bars, strip clubs, or with sketchy friends.

My DH isn't. BUT, we're both OBSESSED with playing Fruit Ninja on the iphone trying to beat each others scores. We saw there yesterday for 3 hours playing it back and forth lol

DH plays in cycles ... when he gets a new game, he plays it nonstop ... but after a few weeks of that, he usually stops completely ... till the next game comes out, of course

This is my DH too - he'll go on a video game kick and then he gets over it. Then a new game comes out and he'll play for a little while and then it dies down again.
Luckily he only plays for an hour or two a day, so he's not GLUED to it.

I am what you call a Video Game Widow.They talk about football widows, but not me. I'm a video game widow. DH has Xbox 360, Wii, and PSP.
When new COD or Halo games come out, he goes to Gamestop at midnight to pick it up. Then he takes the next day off of work to play all day
I've learned to accept it. It's part of who he is and has been like that since the day we met.

Honestly I cant be that upset about it cause I do like to play too.. plus when hes playin I get to watch my soaps that I missed that day

Jerry will play non-stop for hours. He plays all the sports ones football, baseball, basketball and wrestling and as soon as the new one comes out he also runs to Gamestop to get it.
He says its his way of relaxing - idk- I hear him yelling at the games all the time, how is this relaxing

DH is a teacher...I work later than he does and every time I come home he's playing a different game on the Wii. It was Lego Star Wars a few weeks ago and now it's a Harry Potter game he picked up again.

I am a video game widow too!! lol. We even slept outside of Best Buy 4 years ago for THREE days for the freakin Playstation 3 release! I stayed out for 2 of the nights.. It was actually a lot of fun but I'll never do it again lol. We were the first ones on the line and everyone drank all night and threw a football around and became friends. But yeah, DH gets a new game and I don't see him for a while. Then he starts a new one, and the cycle continues. He is currently playing his PSP on the couch.

Yes he does ! When he gets a new game he plays for hours straight. He's obsessed with PS3. He really enjoys it though so I can't be too mad at him.
