nope... DH has a class he is taking for work.... we mentioned we might go to friendly's when he gets home hahaha veryyy romantic haha. they opened up a new one near us haha We are going into the city on Saturday to see Legally Blonde.. that was my xmas present so i don't see a need to make a huge thing of v-day on thursday.

DH and I are starting a comany from home, so until it kicks off we are trying to watch it right now. We decided to have a nice dinner at home. I told him I would make his favorite: Alice Springs Chicken like Outback. Homemade honey mustard sauce, garlic and cheese mashed potatoes, seasoned green beans and yeast rolls and I make a big heart cake. Also we wnet and bought Mr. Woodcock and Good Luck Chuck. So it will be nice and quiet. PERFECT!!!!!!!!!

ugh, i have grad class til 7:10.....BUT i really wanted to celebrate on VDay so we're heading straight over to dinner at our fav Italian restaurant here in PA. Thats where we ate dinner before DH proposed so its a special place.
Then on Saturday we have something called 'Sweet Serenade' at our church at 7:30. Its dinner with awesome jazz music for engaged and married couples. They will have a slideshow of all of us who are there with pics from our weddings and current pics. lol Not much diff for us from 6 mos ago. There is also a contest for the sweetest thing said to your spouse. I couldnt think of anything..who has that kind of memory, SO..i used a line or two from DH's proposal letter.

Aww thats a nice weekend plan! Pete will be home too late to really justify going out to dinner on a Thursday since we both have to work the next day, so we're not doing anything. We are trying to really save up so we are going to just cook at home.
I took a cooking class last Saturday on scallops with a bacon salad with a hot balsamic vinegar and dijon mustard bacon dressing..DELICIOUS!!! So I might end up making that for him sas our 'special date night' dinner. And I will give him his photo book obviously.

As we are desperately trying to save money so maybe we can afford a larger apt. soon, we will be staying in. DH said he'll cook whatever I want & I plan on doing the whole lingerie/heels thing for him. He needs a new wallet so that will be his gift & I got a wallet photo from our wedding to go in it. He gave me my gift yesterday because we wanted to play so bad-Deluxe Onyx Edition Scrabble. I know we're geeks but we have a blast!!

I am going to make dinner for us : some nice grilled ribeye steaks, garlic mashed potatoes, roasted green beans, and a nice tomato & mozzarella salad. For dessert : molten lava chocolate cakes with vanilla ice cream and chocolate dipped strawberries.
Saturday night we are going to a V-day dance with a group of our friends. Nothing fancy, just a night out at the local KofC.
