So, I am vegetarian and DH is meat and potatoes. He doesn't even like vegetables. I have only cooked for him once because I don't know how to work out seperate meals. Every night of eating is pretty pathetic I cook what I usually cook for myself something quick and small and sometimes he doesn't even eat. Anyone, have any suggestions? I like to cook healthy as well so that is also a issue.

my brother and SIL have the same problem. My SIL is a vegetarian and my bro is DEF not. They usually eat different things at the same time and cook for themselves. He will sometimes make a pasta dish for both of them. He has learned to eat some vegetarian things as well.

hasn't he noticed this in the past month or so!? he should have realized this would be an issue before he married you.
I am in a similar situation. i am vegetarian and my husband will not eat a vegetable. his mom gave me a really hard time for a long time because of this but its been mellowing out now. my husband is a very picky eater too. i tried cooking in the beginning but it was not worth it. my schedule is too busy too to cook too.
i like some of the recipes above for myself. thanks for posting!
for husband i make pasta - a heat up frozen meatballs, raviolis, he loves his george foreman grill- he cooks his own hamburgers, hotdogs, steak and chicken on it and i make the side dish - rice, mac and cheese and if i get the right dressing, with cheese he will eat a salad we mostly eat out though- pizza, taco bell and moes you might even be able to tolerate grilling meat on the george foreman grill. it requires little touching.
good luck

thats us too. dh is a great cook and usually cooks for himself; if its something we both eat then great. if not i just throw something in the toaster oven like Amy's Burritos etc.

Cheese Ravioli with Fresh Tomato and Artichoke
'This sauce is quick and easy. It goes well with other pasta types such as tortellini or penne. I serve this with a good quality, crusty bread.'
PREP TIME 20 Min COOK TIME 5 Min READY IN 25 Min
INGREDIENTS (Nutrition) 2 (9 ounce) packages fresh cheese ravioli 1 teaspoon olive oil 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 pound roma tomatoes - peeled, seeded and chopped 1 (6.5 ounce) jar marinated artichoke hearts 1/2 cup chopped green onions 3 cloves crushed garlic 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS Cook ravioli according to package directions. While the pasta is cooking, prepare the sauce. In a large nonstick skillet, heat 1 tablespoon oil over a medium high flame. Add tomatoes, artichokes, scallions, garlic, and salt and pepper. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are warmed through. Remove from heat. Drain pasta well. Transfer to a large bowl, and toss with 1 teaspoon oil. Add half of the sauce to the ravioli; toss gently, but thoroughly to mix. Transfer ravioli to a large serving platter. Pour remaining vegetable sauce over ravioli. Garnish with Parmesan cheese.
Yea that is what we have been doing just making things for ourselves and eating out but, with ordering in so much I have gained weight. I am going to check out that website it looks good.
