Any vegetarians out there?

Any vegetarians out there?

So, I am vegetarian and DH is meat and potatoes. He doesn't even like vegetables. I have only cooked for him once because I don't know how to work out seperate meals. Every night of eating is pretty pathetic I cook what I usually cook for myself something quick and small and sometimes he doesn't even eat. Anyone, have any suggestions? I like to cook healthy as well so that is also a issue.

I really can't deal with cooking or touching meat it totally freaks me out. I have to come out and tell him that. I thought I would be ok with it but, I am really not. I guess I can make 'base meals' which i make the base for both of us and then add veggies for me and meat for him.

Re: Any vegetarians out there?

Maybe buy already prepared meat? A rotisserie chicken can be used in so many ways. You can shred the meat into tacos or soup...

There's lots of different meat that come already prepared so you don't have to handle it too much.

Re: Any vegetarians out there?

that is a hard one when one of you eats meat and the other doesnt- what about if you prepare most of the meal and just have him cook the meat-- do you think he would do that- also maybe you can test out some veggie meals on him- he may like some of them-

when I started dating dh- he was only into eating & cooking fatty foods- now he is really conscious about how much fat & sugar are in things and even asks for certain low fat dishes.

good luck!
