What did you ladies get your DH's for your first anniversary? I am at a loss, especially since his birthday is next Saturday.

I'm not buying him anything really for the anniversary because the trip is our gift to each other..I am going to get him a little something but I am not planning on spending over $75.

I didn't get him anything Special.
He still wants a watch, but I haven't come around to get it for him.

I got him small stuff that he needs for his RC cars, & stuff for All his Hobbies

I wanted to get him a watch, but my stupid sister got him a Mets watch for his birthday, so that blows that idea.

I don't know what we are doing. Since our anniversary is on a Tuesday, we are thinking of making a picnic lunch and going to the beach.

We like going to the beach at Oyster Bay, maybe I can get him to go to Planting Fields too!

That sounds like fun! Maybe you can get your DH tix to a sporting event, broadway show or concert and go with the paper theme for 1st anniversary..

We'll be in Miami for 6 days...We're flying into Tampa then renting a car and driving down to Miami. I wanted to go to Key West but DH wanted to just stay at our hotel. We're gonna try the Miami duck tours lol and we're going to see a Miami Dolphins VS. San Diego Chargers football game. Should be a lot of fun!!

Neither have I. We're going to the Giants game on Sunday and that will be my first football game ever. Can't wait!

That sounds like a good idea. Maybe I can get tickets to the Christmas Spectacular, my friends mom works for MSG and can sometimes get discounted tickets.

I have Off this weekend & next weekend from work, so I want to see if any of the places in Suffolk are open.

1 year we went to Duck Walk Wineries & then across the street there was a pumpkin patch, with a Corn Maze.
I was Fun, esp. after the Wine.

I go to Hick...to see Otto the Friendly Ghost. I used to do that when I was little. And now DH & I have been going every year since we have been together.

Halloween holds a special place for me, it was my parents wedding anniversary. In some of their wedding pictures outside of the church, you can see kids in their halloween costumes.

I seriously can't wait! There's like 10 of us going and it's gonna be a lot of fun. It's it in the middle of nowhere and I'm gonna be scared to death but I love it lol. Have you ever gone to Schmitt's Farm? They have a really scary haunted house and corn maze. The one in Bayview looks really good too..maybe we can check that out this year too.
