anyone else bored with the boards?

I think that there's actually a thread where people are debating about what to debate...

Lately, I just feel like I am having a really hard time getting myself engaged in something that really interests me...

except of course for the threads where people are calling each other names...

I agree. I feel like I am through with NWR. BHB seems so repetitive to me. I spend most of my time on Pets and Home now

Those boards are slow-moving but I guess more interesting.. to me at least.

I stopped coming for awhile, just because I was bored here. Now I come back and see so much political debate. I am so tired of politics right now. I'll come back in another three months. lol

yeah, I'm kinda bored too, but I'm bored at wrok, so I ned to read SOEMTHING.
I mostly come here & just today started going to the home section.

The newlywed board is a nice compromise - it is drama-free (at least it has been since I've been posting...don't know how it's been historically) but moves at a decent, though not lightning fast pace.

Sometimes I like the excitement of BHB - we've all been there and know how it feels to see your sample centerpiece or have a great hair trial. Then again, sometimes I get annoyed b/c I want to tell them that some of the things they're stressing over aren't really worth the energy.

NWR can be interesting and funny. But it can also make me lose respect for humankind when it's all about petty drama and nasty name calling.

The Home board is great but a lot of it doesn't relate to me since I don't live in NY.

I've never been on Pets, Mets, or Yanks.

Me too... work is not nearly as interesting as these boards...
Although BHB is quite annoying with the politics, that part I have to agree on...

I've tried getting into the crafts board, but most of them are into scrapping, and I'm not in the least. I do everything BUT scrapbooking.

yep, sorry I meant to thank you for that site if i didn't . No one else even responded, and I KNOW there are soapmakers on here!
I never did get into soapmaking. Someday. I have way too many hobbies right now. lol

I'm bored at work too, but for the last few months Ive been stalking crochet/knit boards trying to get back into that, and I learned to knit too.

yeah, me too. I gace up on that one early. I am trying to learn to knit & crochet, I went through a brief jewellery phase, and I am all ready to bust out the glue gun for something this Christmas. Not into the scrap booking though. . .

I agree...

Same way here at work. The season is over and not that many tourists to LI this time of the year. I'm just bored in general.

I agree. I used to like NWR, but it's getting so crazy over there now. I don't really go on BHB too often because I'm married a year already, and the other boards (Newlyweds, home, etc) are pretty slow.

I think they need to make a new board called Bitching because there is a lot of that going on right now on NWR. I think the politics are too much for some people.
