Anyone else just TIRED?

Anyone else just TIRED?

I dont know what it is but this last week has just been tough. some personal crap going on with ym family; certain members refusing to take care of themselves and causing me stress, hating my job and my supervisor who sets me up, starting school soon to take math and that major anxiety that comes with it, turning 27 this saturday and realizing I am only 3 years from 30 and STILL not where I want to be in life or in any position to have kids and a home, developing an ulcer and suffering from gastritis and migraines due to stress...

-hands out favors for anyone who wnats to join the pity party-

Sorry guys. i dont usually list my trauma..er drama but just really tired. Going on 2 days with 6 hours of sleep total and my stomach is upset AGAIN. I swear i am becoming my mother chewing TUMS like bubble gum.

Anyone else having a sh*tty week? (well aside from the obvious people lol)

ME! I'm having a funky week....super exhausted, feeling a little work resentment, frustrated with weight...DH and I even got into a stupid argument last night. We were fine 30 mins later, but he told me today, he's also just kind of blah, too.
His mom told him that it said in the newspaper that today is the most depressing day of the year for many people. Is it b/c of winter? We're not even half way through. Weird, but I just it's that time of year where people get into a funk.

When I was 23 I was a PRODUCER for a post production television company...

i had the most promising and exciting future.

I got pregnant with my son and gave it all up, and while I LOVE MY SON with all my heart... sometimes I just think about the career I had and miss it... ALOT.

(I tried to get back into the business a few years ago, but had a hard time convincing someone to hire me when my time is limited due to having a small child)

that dream is over and i haven't a CLUE where to go with my future...

it is what it is... I know I am extremely strong and I'll figure something out.

so dont worry about what you DONT have and seek solace in that you aren't the type of person to allow herself to live a mediocre life. -- you know?

Life shouldnt consist of worrying yourself to the point where you have ulcers or other medical problems. Life should be GOOD

I understand completely where you are coming from...

I can definitely relate to how you feel about not being where you want to be in life (with your career) and I too have major math anxiety...

I'm exhausted this week.....physically and mentally exhausted

works getting to me big time this week, I'm going to throw my computer out the window so I don't have to read anymore e-mails....my brother had surgery this week....I'm in 3 weddings and I'm stressing out b/c everyone wants money ALL at the same time....SUPER! haha....money seems to be impossible to save (or at least save the amount that I'd like to save)....which I think anyone trying to survive and live on long island deals with on a daily basis....We're finishing our basement.......

ahhhhhh that feels good to get that out.......

Jenn, I'm ALWAYS tired and don't have as much going on as you do! At least you have a reason to feel the way you do!

The good news is that it can only get better (knock on wood!).

And you definitely need to come out to the PP. You already have a ride with papi chulo!

Just let me know if you want a ride! I think you live near me so it wouldn't be hard at all!

Thanks for sharing girls.

I'm just having a funked up week. Next week i am sure I will be fine and back tp telling my crazy life in warped glass half full stories. I dont sink down too long-life's too short but I needed to have a moment to sulk. Did I mention I am PMSing? yea...LOVE our extra monthly friend.

DH gets frustrated because he is not where he wants to be which frustrates me more and I also found out how much I still owe on college loans; my parents were supposed to take care of the first 2 years and i would do the rest buuut NOPE. Big fat nope so we owe ALOT more, which i am afraid will hurt our chances when we start house hunting.

I know life throws us cirveballs like it did with caroline and we're all strong girls. we will amke it through. Just aggravating. I wanted to have kids around my early thirties but I want to be somewhat established first and thats not happening anytime soon...

The ulcer is what it is Ive gotten migraines since I was 9 years old lol I am an overachiever. My mom suffers frrom chronic stomach issues so though i didn't inherit her premature gray, I got her belly...LOVELY

And this is the silliest part lol but probably whats bugging me most ebcause it IS the silliest part of the crap... the bodouir pics... I intend to take them but having body issues like many of us post-wedding. i need to get back to the gym regularly but just NO TIME and no motivation. Cheesecake is calling my name!

But thanks for listening girls. Luv ya all and glad we're a happy family again. I missed everybody.

I was just telling DH that I am ready to take a nap. I feel like I have been up for days. I haven't slept right in what seems like weeks and I find that I am letting stress get to me way to easily. I can't wait for the PP, I need a girls night out!!!

Oh, sweetie, you know I can relate!! I'm so exhausted all the time-usually in bed by 8:30pm-So Sad. But I've just been feeling so blah both physically & emotionally lately that I can't help it. But going to try and snap out of it this weekend!!

And as far as not being where you wanted to be in life, trust me, you can't think like that. You're in a loving, happy marriage, you're healthy, talented, funny as hell!! Things will come together-they always do. Chin up, my dear!!

Love ya lots,
Hel

Re: Anyone else just TIRED?

oh, Jenn

I, too, feel that I'm not where I should be (turning 27 in a few months, too) in life.

But look at all that we DO have, such as a great husband.

And you have your awesome talent for designing, which will take you VERY far in the very near future, I bet.

We're just taking on way too much, so we feel tired all the time ... hopefully, it'll all pay off soon.

I have to tell you... exercise is EXCELLENT for the 'woe is me moments' and I do have them often... I work out everyday and I havent felt better...

you should really seek out a therapist... when you find the right one, it's amazing.

but just know that you'll be ok... spring is around the corner and then ((YAY!!)) summer! I think a LOT of people are 'down' around this time of year... its cold... less daylight... the holidays are over.

this too shall pass... =))

Re: Anyone else just TIRED?

Oh no Jenn sorry you feel so crappy that stinks. Who cares about being 30 they don't hand you a checklist on your 30th birthday of things you have to have done already. For some people life really starts at 30 like prisoners who went to jail for 10 years when they were 20.

Sometimes when I am wrecked I go to bed super early. One night of super 12 hour sleep really makes the week much more enjoyable.
