DH is freaking out and all sad *wahhh* b/c his seats didn't come yesterday as they were 'scheduled' to.
He is being such a big baby, he even canceled dinner plans that we had with friends b/c they are 'lost' lol
Anyone else order their mets/yankees seats?

Awesome! DH is a Met fan as well. I had to make sure I left room in the living room for him to display them when they comelol

Both Shea and Yankee Stadiums are selling the actual seats (the chairs you sit on at games) to the general public. Many of the items from both ballparks were sold and auctioned off since they won't be using them in the new stadiums.

Shea seats are $850 and Yankees are like $2000. It's a pair of seats.

they were talking about the seats (actual seats from the old stadium) but I thought they meant the tickets. I've been waiting to hear about the tickets becoming available; i got DH a season package two year's in a row so we'd get preference but as far as I know they aren't selling the smaller packages of 20 games yet.
this is for yankees, not mets.

You know, now that I think about it, it may be only available to current plan holders. Did you have a plan of games for 2008? If so, you should be able to now. A friend of ours is debating because the price of his seats have gone up so much for the Yankees.

we did but only 15 games. we want a friday night package; we applied and everything like MONTHS ago, and they called to offer us $20k luxury boxes I was like, no thanks.
and the website is down for some reason. hopefully we'll get them but even DH thinks the prices are ridiculous. and will they really get that much $$ for them in this economy?
