Both Shea and Yankee Stadiums are selling the actual seats (the chairs you sit on at games) to the general public. Many of the items from both ballparks were sold and auctioned off since they won't be using them in the new stadiums.

i thought you meant season tix and drove DH crazy b/c we requested them forever ago - I was like 'other people are getting theirs!! you better call!'

We actually have our seats for the 2009 season. We don't have the physical tickets yet, but our games and seats are reserved and paid for.

mets or yankees? i'm not sure what is going on but with the new stadium it's taking forever to get seats to yankee games. I left it up to DH though; i'm done with it.

Mets, but the yankees tix should have gone on sale awhile ago. Are you looking for packages or single games? Single games aren't for at least another month.

a package but of 15 or 20 games. last i checked only full seasons were available, and the website for some reason has been down

You know, now that I think about it, it may be only available to current plan holders. Did you have a plan of games for 2008? If so, you should be able to now. A friend of ours is debating because the price of his seats have gone up so much for the Yankees.

we did but only 15 games. we want a friday night package; we applied and everything like MONTHS ago, and they called to offer us $20k luxury boxes I was like, no thanks.

and the website is down for some reason. hopefully we'll get them but even DH thinks the prices are ridiculous. and will they really get that much $$ for them in this economy?
