Anyone ever go to the Excellence Resort in Punta Cana, DR?
Some friends of ours are renewing their wedding vows there (I think they are married something like 25 years) & have invited a bunch of couples to attend & spend the week there. So far there are 12 couples going besides our friends so it would be a great group getaway, and the price for an all inclusive seems pretty reasonable.
We are thinking about possibly going if DH can get the days off approved from work (since it will be smack in the middle of July).
Has anyone been there to the one in Punta Cana, DR? If so - comments, advice, suggestions? I'd really like to be able to do this - but if it's more hype than it's actually worth, then I dont want to waste the $$. But since DH just found out he got some money back for taxes, I know he'd like to be able to take a small trip somewhere - & this would be the perfect opportunity to do so.
If you have any cooments about the place or suggestions for the best laces to eat - please let me know this too. TIA for your help!!!![]()
