Anyone ever have to sleep without their DH?

This is the second night in a row for me DH works as an offficer for DSNY and everyone is called in because of the snow. He has been working 7pm to 7am, tomorrow night too

I hate not having him to sleep with.

I have to, two nights a week. Because of my commute, it's easier to stay at my Mom's those two nights. I enjoy sleeping in my own bed the first night, but after the second I can't wait to get home to DH

When he works overtime sometimes I have to. I'll have to be without him for 3 weeks in April when he goes overseas.

Yes, about 2x's a week because he works from 3pm till 4am but in most cases I try to sneak a day nap with them and then an additional 150 days and nights a year when he isn't here.

I sleep alone everynight. I guess you just get used to it. I hate it but thats life we don't have a choice right now..

I slept with out my DH for the first time the other night. He went snowboarding with the guys and i stayed home. I feel so bad for all of you that your DHs work overnights. I send you all a hug.

Yes actually because of my job, I work one night a week in Babylon, it is easier to go to my parents in Patchogue and I sleep alone in my old bed.

tonight is the second night in a row for me also. he is in NJ for work
it sucks... at least I have Gizmo to sleep with me.

Dh doesn't travel much for his job, so since we moved in together, we've been sleeping in the same bed...unless he ticks me off, I boot him out and make him sleep on the couch..

I am the wife of a firefighter, so there are quite a few nights I have to sleep without my honey...

all week for me...

Al's been travelling back to CA a lot lately, and he'll usually go for a week at a time. This time around, I'm meeting him in San Francisco on Friday.

I work for an airline so I sleep @ hotels 2- somtimes3x a week.

I can sleep alone @ a hotel no problem, but when I am home and DH is away ( ie- his bachelor party etc.) I can't sleep well by myself.

This is going to sound awful, but I actually like it when he sleeps on the couch and I get the bed all to myself! Because of a tramatic incident in his childhood, DH finds some comfort sleeping on the couch sometimes. I hate it when he isn't home though.

Thats me too! I usually go to bed before DH anyway...I don't even hear him come into the room.
