actually my boss got one for us, it's a crystal bride and groom, very pretty - and i doubt i would have thought to get one on my own (DH is catholic and i am jewish).

Love the idea of exchanging ornaments each year!!
Precious Moments puts out an ornament each year for 'just married' they are pretty cute
Also the Willow Tree sculpted wood looking figurines you find in Hallmark have nice ornaments of couples too I think

I love this one from Lenox. I think I might just have to get it. The Opal Innocence pattern matches our toasting flutes and cake server.

I LOVE IT!!! We had the opal innocence cake server/cutter too. We also have the votive candle holders, and large and small vases!

We are!! I found a bunch of really cute ones!! I can't decide!!
We got one from Crate and Barrell last year that was just a silver frame with the year on it and we put our wedding picture in it

My parents got us two- the Lenox one and another awesome one from Disney World!
My aunt and uncle also got us a Waterford one that they thought was first Christmas but was FIRST home which was perfect since we had the other two and we did have our first home together too!

I want to do this, but I don't want to get one that says 'First Christmas together,' as it's not, really. It's our first married Christmas, but we lived together for a year before the wedding, and of course dated before that. So I'm planning on getting something that has '2007' on it, but doesn't necessarily say anything about marriage. Unless I found something nice--I did see a box of ornaments with a bride, groom, carriage, and some other things, but my husband didn't wear a tux...it didn't seem to apply to us all that much, somehow. They were very pretty, maybe one of you guys would like it. I'm at work, but I did see them someplace online, I'll try to remember to post them later.
anyway, I'm probably going to get the Waterford crystal snowflake for 2007. It's a lovely, special thing, not the sort of ornament I buy on a regular basis (and I buy a LOT of ornaments ) so it will stand out as our 'first married Christmas' one. In my family we have a tradition of 'special' ornaments that are just really nice ones, not dated or ones that say specifically what they are. I have my special ornament that my mom bought the year I was born, it's a gorgeous golden angel. A bit small for the top of a 7' tree, so it goes in a place of honor in the front. The Waterford (or whichever I buy) will go by it.

This is pretty--I won't put the photo as it's small and won't show up, but here's the link, it's a box of several ornaments, including a wedding couple, church, bouquet: ornaments
Can't find the ones I saw in the shop in Babylon Village that I saw on eBay, but I can't get into eBay at work. Those were the nicest group of wedding themed glass ornaments I had seen.

That is sooooooo beautiful! I think I just saw this one at Macy's.......I think it was around $70 or so. It's sooooo pretty!
