Do you want to use sofrito or going without? I have one but I throw sofrito in whenever I make rice-dont know how to make it any other way.

Wait Im confused lol-do you want to throw the pollo into the rice or make el arroz seperate. I have both.

oo i have sofrito!! yaaaaaaay! i always try to buy new things!

i want to make the chicken and the rice together. i know you brown the chicken and then cook the rice with the chicken...

but i'd like someone's recipe....

I wish I had an actual recipe. I usually just throw everything in. No measurements! Did you look online?

i don't usuallyl use the olives or alcaparras--but to each their own. and myself instead of garlic powder i love using fresh garlic that i mash up myself.

You should get some sweet plantains and fry them up to serve with the arroz con pollo... YUMMMMMMMMM

A REALLY good cookbook is Perto Rican cusine by Oslwald RIvera. LOVE it. Its sooo close to how my Abuelita made everything. I eyeball most things but sodid she lol sooo I needed to geta cookbook to get me started with quanities till I could just go on the fly.
