Anyone have a list of things to change your name on?

Credit Cards...Social Security...License...professional license....

Just want to make sure I cover my bases - what else ? t.y.

Here is my list:


Drivers License
Credit cards
Social Security Card
School loan
Professional organizations and honor societies
Malpractice insurance
IRA
Bank
Health insurance
Passport

Another list I conjuctively used:

¤ U.S. Passport Agency
¤ U.S. Post Office
¤ Utility Company (phone, electric, gas, etc.)
¤ Department of Motor Vehicles (drivers license, vehicle registration)
¤ Voter Registration
¤ Financial Organizations (bank, credit cards, life insurance, retirement plan, etc.)
¤ Medical Organizations (medical plan, dental, physician, etc.)
¤ Membership Organizations (clubs and associations)

UGH! I swear...this is more work than planning the wedding! AND....of course we're the ones doing all the work!

What should be done first? Anything? Does it have to be done in any particular order or can I just start changing things?

How about the title on your car.......... I still have to do that.

You don't need to change the name on the title of your car, only your license and registration (at least that's what the dmv told me). Since the owner remains the same, the title can still be in your maiden name.
