I have off 2 weeks in July, and would like to do something but have no ideas right now. Anyone else?

First I just want to say welcome back and best of luck to you and your new hubby!!!
I also have two weeks of vacation to use but we have no idea what to do. We are still trying to catch up after the wedding. We might go on another cruise in the fall or maybe to Vegas.
I really want to go to the Cape this summer but we haven't booked anything yet.

We're renting a summer house near Newport, RI for 1 week Can't wait! That's a great area - we're 1 blk from the ocean, but 20 mins from Newport and 40 mins from Providence so there's definitely enough to do.
we are going to Spain...although for family reasons...not for pleasure..
I want to go to San Francisco or Vegas as well

Where do I begin
In Aug we are going to St Maaten, Anguilla and St Barts, cannot wait
I know this is not summer but in December we are going to San Diego
We are also going to this AA owned B&B by the Jersey shore, my treat to my hubby.

Dallas in August for a week and I'm trying to plan a cruise for myself for the early fall (waiting for the bonus checks to come in to see what I have to play with). I'm going ALL BY MYSELF!!! Pamper me much baby!!

DH & I are going to Florida next weekend. In July I am going to Memphis with my sister & friend. Sept we are going to AZ for our first anniversary:D

We just got back from a short vacation in Turks and Caicos so that's about the only 'real' vacation for the summer. DH is going to vegas for work the end of july beginning of august so I may tag along and maybe we'll extend the trip a day or two to relax a little.

you all already know I'm leaving tomorrow for Italy - a week in a villa in Positano, and one night in Rome.
As for other trips, I think we'll try to get to Hawaii since we have friends that just moved there, but no timing on that yet.

Thanks Erica! It's a pretty cheap trip too - no airfare, and we'll be BBQing the week out so no expensive restaurants.
Lisa - I'm SO jealous that you're already half-way to Hawaii! Actually, the same now goes for you Erica! I'm jealous of both of you! LOL You guys can now easily make the trip saving $$$ and less vacation time.
teri...yes 1/2 way to Hawaii...but you guys are 1/2 way to Europe to me...

good point Erica! We've got Hawaii, but we go to Europe more often!
I'm not looking forward to the 13-14 hours of flying ahead of me tomorrow! We connect in NY (and pick up my family) so at least that breaks it up a little.

Might go to the Jersey shore with some girlfriends for an estrogen weekend in July, would like to go to Mohegan Sun for a weekend and Aruba in November.... that's too far away, I want to go NOW!!

We are trying to plan a long weekend to visit my very pregnant bridesmaid in Chicago. She got pregnant the night of our wedding! So whenever I ask her how pregnant she is (meaning how many weeks), she says 'oh I don't know - how married are you?!)

We are going to Greenport, Long Island for July 4th weekend and in August, I am going to the Mohegun Sun in Connecticut for a weekend...they have an awesome spa.
I am very busy in the summertime and can only take long weekends here and there. We are planning a trip to the bahamas in November for our 1st anniversary. I can't wait.

I have a trip planned to my backyard deck if we ever get some sun
No big trips for us this summer. Maybe a weekend or two at the Jersey Shore and hopefully a week in Westhampton Beach in Aug.

We are going to Myrtle Beach, SC area for a week in July! Yippee!
Also, the inlaws live in North Fork, LI area so we always go a few times a summer including this past Memorial Day though it poured. (lots of things to do - beaches, hamptons across the fork, vineyards, farmstands) - one of my fave parts of LI.
