I have off 2 weeks in July, and would like to do something but have no ideas right now. Anyone else?

we are planning a lot of little things. Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard to see my family, Cape May for the haunted house tour! (doing that with my crazy sisters....), Newport, Rhode Island and possibly a nice beachy place...Bermuda or Bahamas. But all just a few days here and there.
I am planning a road trip down South through Savannah, Mississippi, down to New Orleans in September. But I am trying to go that one alone! (if my hubby will let me out of his sight! )

We don't usually do too much during the summer so just staying home. First week of October it is off to New Hampshire for fall foliage. We were supposed to be buying property up there this year, but between all the remodeling on our house and my illness the money isn't there . So this will just be a short vacation. Hoping to go to Disney for Thanksgiving as long as doctor gives me the okay to fly!!!

Scoop: where are you staying in Greenport? I used to go there every summer as a kid...love it!
As for me, we are taking my DH's daughters to Williamsburg for a week in Aug. In July I am taking DH away for a 'murder Mystery Weekend' in PA for his birthday!

Leaving for Hawaii hopefully for 10 days in August with a stop in San Diego to visit a friend. Can't wait - it's our 1st anniversary present to each other (even though we got married in July).

My best friend and I always take a 3-4 day trip to Montauk. It is a girls tradition that I am happy to keep up even though I am a MRS!!!

Ladies you are making me so jealous. I have a hellish summer for school- surgical oncology rotation in July, urogynecology in August and the month of September in the surgical ICU! We may get away the weekend before July 4th to Florida, keeping my fingers crossed. It may be the only sun I see.

Well, my trip to Mexico may be my last vacation in a while because I just bought a house and am officially broke! LOL
I pretty much using most of my vacation time this year to get the house moved in and decorated and such. DH and I keep joking we are spending our summer in our summer house in on the island (just mot like the Hamptons though!)
I may go for a long weekend to visit a friend in Vermont in August...Vermont in the summer is so pretty. I like going on the lakes and stuff like that!

We might go up to Leeds NY (near the Catskills) for a long weekend in July or August. And then we're trying to decide on when & where to go away for our 1st Anniversary (August) - which we'll probably go in October - to either the Bahamas or Dominican Republic.

as of now we have nothing major planned. We have a place in the Poconos so I am sure we will be there a lot. Because of things at home, we can't get away for our anniversary (In 2 weks) but Nick did mention something the other night about maybe getting away for a week in Septemer. SO Istarted planning right awaya nd now I am tossed between a cruise and Sandals

Sigh, how I WISH I was going somewhere, ON A PLANE, this summer, but since I'll be infanticipating and getting stuff ready, I won't be going anywhere except maybe up to the Poconos -- my MIL's house, whoopdidoo!!!! I really don't want to touch any of my vacation until after the Bear Cub makes his/her appearance, so I won't be taking too much time off this summer. Please pray it's not a hot summer because then I'm in BIG trouble because I don't do heat well on a good day, forget about being big as a house and waddling through it!!!
I'm DYING to go to Vegas, but maybe I can take a long weekend after the bambino is born!! That's if my big chooch hubby will get over his fear of flying and get on a plane, otherwise I'll pick him up at Amtrak!!!
Have fun ladies and think of me while sitting on the beach drinking your oh so refreshing alcohol filled exotic drink!
