Anyone taking a snowday ??

I'm home as well! My boss called this morning and encouraged everyone staying home. I'm in Southern NJ and communte to Philly.....the roads are terrible here.

Everyone be careful today!!!!!!

I'm home because it's February break in my school district. But I am MAD that this snow couldn't wait til next week!!!
I'm so selfish! You know other teachers feel the same way too!

I wish DH took a snow day...I haven't heard from him and I hope he made it to work okay!!!

Working from home!

I was going to work from home but didn't want to push it since I did one day last week already.......but then I came in and said to my boss 'I was going to call you to ask if I could work from home' he said I should have!!!!! damn it!!! I hate being a loyal employee sometimes!!

what a load of crap..this had to wait until we were off anyway??? grrrr!!!

now all its doing is ruining my day bc i had a TONNNN of stuff to do today!

I decided to stay home too -- I was supposed to cover for a Speech Therapist on vacation -- the kids I normally see for speech on Fridays were already cancelled so I decided instead of going crazy driving to someplace I don't normally work just to stay home.

Going to clean a little, start a crockpot soup for dinner, and do some reports for work

Yep I did. My car is not good in this weather. I'll have to make up for it next week by staying late and not getting paid.

I wish!! I dragged my a$$ in this morning. Left home at m usual 5am and it took me till 6:40am to get here. I can only imagine what the commute home will be like. Oh joy! Maybe it will take me 4 hours like it did last week when we had that snow/sleet storm!

I HATE you all (except Helen ) I am sitting at my desk. I think coming to work when it is snowing is such a waste. Nobody in this office does anything except talk about the snow and how it is supposed to get really bad later.

I'm in Rhode Island & so far we have about 4 inches. We are expecting 10.

I'm in fort salonga and we have like 5 and there saying between 7-10 when its all over, but then its going to turn to freezing rain and make the cummute home crazy! and melt some of it away

I thought it was just this office that stared out the window and said 'it's still snowing' every 10 minutes.

I wish you were my boss

I didn't go in today-I work in Central Islip and I live in Hampton Bays. We already have about 3 1/2 inches out, there has not been one solitary salt truck or plow, and I am not traveling 40 miles and risking my safety just to be sent home.

I was planning on office from home, but I got forced to use a 1/2 personal since so many people called out.


So, now to Plan B-screw 'em, I am going back to sleep and cleaning today when I wake up
