anyone up?

I know its monday...but I am SO anxious about the surgery tomorrow that I can NOT sleep

good luck. it will be done with before you know it . I had a molar pulled in Jan. then decided on an implant. now that's long and drawn out at least with the surgeon I'm using. he wants it to heal 5 mos or so before the cap etc.

anyway, I used the shot in the arm, put me to sleep. but for implant he couldn't so just novacaine and it wasn't so bad. don't worry. it will be fine. just use those ice packs for lots of hours afterward.

Thanks, Im prepared with all my mushy food, bags of peas, ice packs->socks for the ice packs.....i might actually be over prepared.

I know you worry about all sorts of things but you really should be fine with it. He gave me pain med and I think I took 2 pills just to be safe - - they say it's better to take before you have serious pain cause it gets rid of it better/quicker than if it starts hurting and then you take something. I really don't think mine was that achy but I went the just inb case route.
worst for me was to be careful eating to keep it clean but the gums heal pretty quick.
so think about something else - - like your wedding. get your mind off it.

Ive cleaned-now everything is done and Im trying to get my mind off it but Im having issues
All I really want to do is sleep but I keep tossing and turning and I had to get out of bed

sorry...i passed out for a minute and now im up again-i think Im just going to lay down and hope that i pass out for real

i know how stressful it can be going into what *feels* like a major surgery, and trying to over-prepare for it ... 'just in case'

they know what they are doing, they pull teeth alllllll day long.

its not like they're gonna tie a string to your tooth, the other end to a door, and slam the door
