Not only did he think he was writing his own, he thought he could sign them :

Love,
Dan

And not put my name on them! Sometimes I think he is retarded!

DH wanted to do his side. Then he sat on it too long. So I took them and did all but his side of the BP and his aunts, uncles and grandmother. What men fail to realize is that most people expect family correspondence to come from the female in the household and if it doesnt happen, SHE looks bad. Good lord, my father never wrote a thank you note in his life and my brother never does.

Nope, I wrote all of them. DH signed 'and John' and kept telling me he had a very important role in signing them. He insisted that since I wrote ' Love, Beth' and not 'Love, Beth and', he had to add the 'and' or my grammar would look bad because it would read ' Love, Beth John' Silly DH

He wrote out his side and signed it Mike and Kelly. I wrote out my side and signed them Kelly and Mike. He's really been great!

Thank you for making me laugh at 5am!!!

DH didn't even OFFER to help! Ha. Those are 'my things'. I think mine is lacking the thinking of sentiment gene. I mean, he loves when I do things like send his family a 5x7 from the wedding to their family reunion b/c we couldn't go, but he wouldn't ever think of it on his own.

No. He didn't expect to do any of them, but I expected him to do some. And he did....after I threw a fit. But I did most of them.

I didn't even think to ask DH to do them, I did them all by myself and signed them all

Love,

Stephanie & Kevin

DH will do his half and I will do mine. He's pretty good like that and even wrote most of the postcards we sent from the HM.

No, my dh just helped with putting stamps on maybe 15 thank yous. Honestly it was just easier for me to do it myself.

I'll prob write them all out. He doesn't understand why we can't just get a stamp that says 'Thank You' and be done with it!!

Mine wrote half of his thank you's in May. The other half are sitting on our kitchen table. He said, like 6000 times, that he wanted to write his own thank yous.
I'll resort to violence if they are not done by 7/31.

hes doing them. i did mine already and he hasnt started his.

the blank cards, envelopes and stamps are sitting on our desk at home. his can sit for a year if he wants to, but hes doing them.

HE WANTED ALL THOSE EXTRA GUESTS, WELL HE CAN TAKE THE TIME TO THENK THEM HIMSELF!

I'm lucky I got him to sign his name!

Of course my husband wrote his own thank yous. Why should I be expected to do it for HIS side of the family? I trusted that he knew how to write a thank you note. He's not an idiot.

Nope, I wrote all 250 out and wrote a novel in each one.

DH's job was to seal the envelopes and put stamps on them. When he was done he looked at me and said 'Man, that was alot of work!'

I wrote them to my family and friends and he wrote them
to his. Why should I have to do them all. It's only fair.

he only wrote just a couple- to his friends. i did all the others.
but he did write out the addresses on the envelopes for the majority of all the cards! lol
