It depends on the situation, but I have a hard time doing either if it is someone close to me who really betrays me ie: I still don't talk to my ex best friend because she totally abandoned me when my parents were splitting up (they're back together now) but she wasn't even there for me! Those type of things I can't forgive or forget!
