Are any of you artsy or crafty? I know we had some great DIY Queens but do you make things for your home? fun? Hobby?

Not artsy or crafty at all

It depends, I have to have a lot of time and some patience. I love scrapbooking and have made scrapbooks for a few special friends over the years. It just takes a lot of time and it costs a lot of money to get everything you need.

Other then that I like to make chocolate lollipops and I am now contemplating making a centerpiece for my coffee table with those fake flowers.

I've made quite a few scrapbooks, usually as gifts to people. Like my parents 25th wedding anniversary..pics of them dating, wedding, us kids and i had all different people write them notes and submit pics or stories of them. it was amazing.

I make chocolate lollipops for the kids in the family bdays.

I made the CPS for my sister's sweet sixteen and the place card holders.

I am the queen of making gift baskets for bridal and baby showers.

i think i am - but in a different way - like decorating and picking out stuff for our apartment like furniture, paint, linens, etc.- i think i am good at that - i love that kind of thing and i think i'm pretty good at it - i can't wait to have a house, its hard with an apartment b/c you don't want to waste money on a place that isn't yours and on things you might not want when you have a house - but in any case i think i have good ideas .....i am making an album and some of the spreads i did so far are pretty hot if i say so myself - but as far as like making things with my hands, like wrapping, gluing, cutting, assembling - i am NOT good at that at all! that is different......but i used to draw back in the day - i used to sketch very well but i gave that up when it was time to grow up - i should start again - DH saw some stuff my Mom saved once and was shocked i should surprise him with something

As I always say, just call me 'Grandma' cuz I LOVE to do cross stitch!!! I also love messing around on Shutterfly and those websites and creating photo gifts for people who don't have the time or energy to do it themselves!

Have you ever thought about studying interior design?

Oh, and to the OP, me...not so much.

I bake :) I have made cakes in the past for birthdays ans showers. Now I am only doing cupcakes.

I love to paint and draw, but I haven't done any of that in yearsssssss. I have done some stenciling, like print screen stenciling, not wall stenciling lol I used to make shirts for my husband's band. I also made some shirts for concerts and stuff like that. I still have a shirt that has one of DH's band members face on the back of it. IT's sort of creepy, but it was the only one that came out really well lol I wear it to bed alot. :)

I do love to make little gifts, like baking cookies for the holidays and giving them to people in little baskets, or little dishes,as well.:)

I am very much a decorator. I love decorating our apt. but I have 2 criteria (1) it has be to form and function and (2) cant be expensive b/c as you said, it's an apt. and I dont want to put lot of $ into it. 90% of our apt is ikea!

As for crafty, I like to think I am. I love to crochet, paint, and put things together.

Im not very artsy. Im more of an electronics girl. I hook everything up in the house

I do cake decorating and baking.

If I see something I can recreate it. I've made invitations and things like that by hand.

I can also crochet and knit, not wonderfully but basic.....I'm still learning the fancy stuff! =)

I'm a musician so that's artsy I guess, but sometimes it's more like work than art.

I do make good cookies, and I can make ivy plants...have them all over my house! I had one original and since then have cut pieces and had them sprout roots in water. I think I'll start giving them away as gifts, I have so many.

I eventually want to get into scrapbooking too.

I enjoy painting. Made a few for the house when we first moved in. It was also a very sad time in my life - when my Pap Pap was terminal with cancer - so having a creative outlet was a really good thing for me.



I also design and sew 'show shirts' for equestrian competiton. Here is one I did for my sister a few years back.

I would really love to learn how to bake cakes and the real nice ones!!!! I do consider myself a good decorator...I'll see if I post pics after I throw DH his surprise bday party. I decorate parties real nice! But not only parties...I think I am a good interior dercorator. I guess I know who to display things...lol

I sing ... not professionally but I do it alllll the time I love to go to karaoke and I did take lessons a while ago ... and I'm actually doing a little cabaret in the city in Feb!

I also love to scrapbook ... and I like to take pictures but haven't really done that in a creative way in a while. I also like to make cards and things like that.
