Do you act differently at home when your hubby is away on a trip? I ask because hubby will be traveling more and I wonder if my routine will be different without him.
I'm pretty sure i'll get more stuff done cuz i won't be sitting in front of the tv as much

I think I am more productive when he is not around, i.e I get alot of work done.
I know I probably eat alot more.

DH travels at least once a month. I think I get less done when he's here because I try to take the time away and spend it with my family and friends. I hate to stay home alone!

Why yes, I sleep over at my friend's house, I never cook, I never have to call and check in with anyone, I lounge around all day, it is great to have the house all to myself. No dishes in the sink, one draw back I have to empty the garbage, but I do miss him so

I don't sleep as well when he is gone, but I watch A LOT of Lifetime and I eat breakfast for dinner.

I dont know why but I feel like when DH is not around I can just eat 2 pints of Haagen-daaz and not gain any weight! yeah right!
but i do get much more productive as well! So, may be it's from working hard and my body needs extra calories!

Breakfast is my favorite meal and I do this quite often when he is away. One night about 9, I ended up at IHOP for take out

Yes I don't have to cook . I give the kids a hot dog or soup and then I have a TV Dinner!!!! Otherwise around the house I get more done.

I get depressed, eat more-- alot of junk food, spend more time on the net, and get a lot of housework done but rather lonely. I watch whatever shows I like as we only have one TV in our apt and don't have the $$$ means for another TV.

Im WAY more productive. But that's just my nature. Even when I have to take time off for doctor's appts, I schedule in other errands to make use of that time.
I eat a lot LESS when he isnt around.
Old habit of mine. I just forget to eat.

I turn into party woman when he's gone - more like my old self. Look for something 'cool' to do for the weekend with my girls, skip cleaning my house so intensely, feel alot more relaxed and back in my old skin. When he's around, life is very routine (I know that sounds bad, etc.) but I know that no one is going to care if my bra hangs out on the bedroom floor overnight, etc. I drop the whole 'wife' thing I've got going on 24/7 and live carefree for a little while.

i always pick up Taco Bell - he hates it, i love it!!
also - i can work on my crafts guilt-free, with lifetime on in the background. i always sent the house alarm when he's away, something we don't really do anymore when we're both home.

My house is a lot warmer, I crank up the heat which makes my DH crazy I also watch all my tivo Dr Phil and Oprah shows and call all my girlfriends. Its like the chick hour at my house

I watch tons of TLC - Trading Spaces, While You Were Out...and I get to sleep late - he is an early riser and I always end up before 9am when he is home.
