I used to do that when I was in college. I worked for Banana Republic - we used to change the windows and display all the time....it was kind of creepy changing the mannequins' clothes

Millie -- I can totally relate. I had my B.S degree in Speech & Hearing Handicapped and got my TSHH certification. Then I had the hardest time getting into Masters programs for speech. I took a year off of school after my B.S and then started applying and got declined left and right while I was working as a speech therapist for BOCES. It took me 3 years to finally get into a Masters program for Speech. And at the same time my certification was going to expire and I had to get a 2 year extension. Just finished my Masters this summer and now working on my CFY.

You can do it!! It was not easy for me but I made it -- YOU can too!!

Wow! See, I dont understand why they make it so difficult for us. There is such a demand for speech teachers/therapists yet, they make it so darn difficult for us to continue our education. I am even finding it difficult to get my TSHH....After graduation with my BA I find out I still need about 6 credits in order to apply for certification. Its just complete BS to me..and a whole ton of $$$. I will not give up..but I just feel like Ive hit a dead end spot...its so depressing. But thanks for the words of encourgement
