Ok so a co-worker asked me this and it made me think. Are you your husband's 'type' and is he yours?
Like I know my husband is attracted to women with darker skin and dark hair. He has a thing for Indian chicks big time. but I am his first girlfriend 'of color'.
Anyway, I am his type but he actualyl was NOT MY type! Crazy huh? I never liked men with tatoos, or hige muscles or who were gearheads and liked guns and fast cars. I prefered the funny guy who was usually smart but a clown at the same time and who could make me laugh. I was intimidated by attractive men so my exes were never the 'hot' guys at all.
But Pete is everything I wasn't looking for and YET he is TOTALLY my type in that we cimpliment one another so well. Yes he drives me nuts 15% of the time but generally we work great AND he's HOT.
Anyone else?

i never really dated according to a 'type'...it was moreso is there a connection/attraction. i think me and DH are definitely eachother's 'types' by that definition.
he says hes thankful he finally ended up with someone who was truly his type. i think hes thankful he ended up with a girl with big boobies in all seriousness, he loves curves (thank goodness cause I have plenty), and i have boobs and hips (wish i had more of a butt!). he also likes darker hair, tanner skin (too bad im pale at the moment bc of winter) and more 'exotic' eyes, which he says I have. although, he loved selma hayek and im FAR from her!!!!!!!!!!!! oh well. and our humor and faith jives so well!! i think i may be the first warm, loving lady he's had. he's dated some not so warm women.
and he is so stinkin handsome, hysterically funny, intelligent, So warm and loving, an amazing father, comfortable with emotions, and an awesome Christian man! he has the best smile, lips, eyes, shoulders and butt and he's muscle-icious to boot, which i LOVE!!! i always liked taller guys with darker hair and green eyes (thats him). I was and am so attracted to him, moreso than any man that has ever been in my life! im so thankful for him! im such a cheeseball, i like melt when he first walks in the door after work. or i want to attack him.

he is exactly my type and i didnt even realize until i looked back at other guys i dated and they all looked alike..lol
but he used to date 4 foot blonde hookers so this was an upgrade for him..

i guess he's my 'type', even though i never realized i had a type. i like tall guys, dark features, and i have a weakness for shaved heads, tatts and glasses. he had that tatts and glasses when we first met, but had really bad hair (but he was still cute and made me LAUGH, so he kept getting more chances ). finally, after about 6 months after being together, he finally took the plunge and shaved his head. i love it!
i guess i'm his type too. as he's always telling me 'I like 'em thick!', and that's def me but then he also finds christina aguillera super hot , so who knows what his true type is, all i know is that he married me

What i mean by 'type' is (and this is UNPC people) I never dtaed attractive men. I ahve low self esteem as we know and I would never go after good looking guys. I always settled for the unattractive but funny guys, so when I ended up with pete who is HOT AND Funny, everyone went 'HUH?!'

DH totally was not my 'type'. I was into tall skinny guys with blue eyes. DH is 280, brown hair, brown eyes, although he is tall! So I guess I went out of my 'comfort zone' on that one. But we work so well together it is ridiculous.
As for DH - he didn't have any girlfriends before me, but he claims his type is tall blondes. I'm not very tall, but I am blonde, so I guess he kind of married his type!
