Arrogant people!!

my dad went away on vacation on the 30th and there was some issues that popped up after he left.. my dad's boss calls him and tells him that he needs to come right back.. what the eff!?!? so my dad says he can't, he has a lot of stuff to take care of and its not a real vacation.. we went 'home'.. so my dad asks me to call his boss and talk to him and find out what's up... i called the boss on saturday and he tells me to come today and he plans to sync up my laptop to my dad's computer so incase if he needs something it is available (i'm going away tomorrow).. anyway.. reluctantly i agreed, and i called this mad man a few mins ago asking him whether a laptop is needed or a thumbdrive and if there were any proprietary programs that he would need, this man just said bring whatever you want, and hung up the phone!

I know he can be a jerk, but I never thought he would be such a big a$$!! I called my dad and I told him that his boss was a bit blaze, my dad said that this man makes his assistants cry with this attitude and they go and talk to my dad to find out what this man needs. I would never, ever, ever treat someone like crap or hang up the phone.. and not for nothing, I could qualify to be his boss. I just feel weird, to have someone do this to me.

I would give it right back to him the next time I spoke with him. I am sorry he was so rude to you, but apparently no one has ever put him in his place lol I know you may not want to say anything b/c it's your dads boss, but if that were me, I would tell him what I thought b/c regardless of who he is, and who I am related to, you don't treat people that way.

I agree that he shouldn't have acted that way, but personally I wouldn't be rude back to him or say anything about it to him. He's probably not going to change and I wouldn't want to make the situation cause problems w/ the dad.

Don't stoop to this guy's level. You might make the situation worse for your dad.
If anyone has something to say, it should be your dad, not anyone else.

Just be careful with your laptop. I'd find out if he will take responsibility if anything should happen to it because of the syncing.

True, didn;t think about that.

I highly doubt he can do something because my dad is not in the US. Unless he can spend millions, I highly doubt he would be able to hook it up. I won't show him the laptop at first.

I won't say anything, my dad feels bad for the rest of the staff there. 3 hours to go see him, I am really dreading it.

sorry i forgot..

i went to see him around 6pm and he was really nice, and i had this ball in the pit of my stomach. we chatted and he asked his asst. to come in and his IT guy.. she came in sat and he told her to get the papers and she came in with it, he said thats it and slammed the door on her.. i can't believe howwww rude he is too his female staff.. the IT guy said nothing can be transfered and worked around it..
i was so uncomforatble there.. the IT guy was walked out with me and was telling me how no can stand him.. the only person who can talk to him and work with him is my dad.. and he is clueless about his office... my dad sits with the staff and gives them instructions and stuff.. and this guy is horrible with women, and made a stupid remark that there quite a few women in the office..

wow, sorry to hear that. I guess it's a good thing that you didn't give him a piece of your mind lol If you dad is the only one he really talks to then I would've felt bad if he would've went off on him.

So is it all over now? Do you have to keep dealing with this guy?

I agree, hopefully one day this guy gets a reality check and stops treating people like poop!
