Re: artie lange
artie and his assistant teddy had an argument off the air. artie was screaming at him and howard wanted the guys to come in and talk about it on air. it turned into a big thing, accusations that teddy was stealing from artie flew and before long artie went berserk and he went to attack teddy. it took like 10 people to hold him back. he shortly after resigned and walked out. i love him and know this is all part of his self destructive nature and it just bums me out.

I'm sure those 2 will kiss and make up over a little ecstasy in Amsterdam
I'm a huge Stern fan and you scared the crap outta me! I thought he died for the second time in 3 days!
I have tickets to go see him on May 18th
The other day I missed the fight by the time I got into my truck. I heard Jeff the drunk call and say that it was a sad day and they mentioned Artie and I freaked!!!
Monday is going to be great!!!!!
I bet $20 he'll be there!

Major stern fan here. What I'm pissed about is they're not replaying the show....and the rundown isn't even on howardstern.com....I mean come on, we all heard it happen, since when do they hide things....then again, that's the only thing that makes me think that it's serious business.
my opinion though is that he'll be back. I just LOVE artie to pieces and seriously, he needs to take care of himself....he's just waaaaaay out of control with his eating and his 'issues'. I wish I could him.

I read mark's friggin. haha....i love that you know mark's friggin.
thing is....isn't it slightly 'convenient' that they're off next week....? That is the best way to make sure everyone tunes in when they come back right? I mean, not that they need help with attracting listeners, his audience is colossal already but I don't know....it's just a little too well-timed....
what do you think?

Re: artie lange
ya know, i thought about that too but after listening to it i have decided that it was very real. also, everything ive read on the internet supports that. he seems to be on a completely self destructive path and he has made reference on the show before to how his relationships, both working and personal, always seem to end badly. this seems to be his pattern.
pulling the replay also seems to me to be an indication that its serious. but i dunno, i just hope that he's back next week.

yeah, that's why I go back and forth. One one hand it's perfect to 'pull this' before they're off for the week, BUT, artie is completely self-destructive right now, it's obvious to anyone who truly listens to the show AND they pulled the replay. I'm more prone to believe the latter that it truly is serious business right now....I just really want artie to get help...he needs to detox on sooooo many levels, you know?
that said, how much do you love fred's new 'voice' when he does the president of the african country that Robin's GNO has created the charity for....cracks me the eff up every time.

Eff high pitch mike...he's such a whiner i can't stand him. (was that mean???)
I saw high pitch eric and shuli at a yankee game last year.....highpitch eric is gross in person so now I'm scheeved out even when I hear him on the radio.
