As your wedding got very close (say 40 days or so away) did you notice...

that you forgot to eat because you were so stressed?

This is becoming a problem for me, I've lost an intentional 10 lbs which put me where I wanted to be....and now, because of everything else I'm doing and forgetting to eat, I've lost an additonal 8 lbs (this weight loss is unintentional).

I was just wondering if this happened to anyone else?

I did start to forget things. Like I forgot to pay my cell phone bill and never realized it until they turned it off. I was a wreck. I did get it back together so you have hope

That never happened to me (although I wish it did )

If you continue to have that problem, maybe you should set a timer on your watch just to remind you to eat something.

oh definitely. i wouldn't remember until 3 or 4pm that i never had lunch. and half the time id wake up and go straight to the computer to work on my to do list and not get to breakfast til noon. it's all part of the game

I love to eat, so nor for me.

I did forget to pay my cellphone bill as well Neva I was very flighty as time progressed.

I don't look skeletal or anything, but people are saying things to me like, 'OMG, you lost more weight....etc'

I don't want to get sick, so maybe I will try Stef's idea.

OMG - I wish I could forget to eat sometimes!! I agree, set a timer or something and eat - and do so healthly!!

Be careful b/c I did lose an unintentional 8 lbs or so and that was about two weeks before my wedding - point being, it will only get worse as you get closer to the big day. I didn't forget to eat, i was just too anxious to eat! The week of the wedding I thought my seamstress was going to kill me - she had to take the dress in more and sew in cups b/c it didn't fit. So please please please try to eat. You don't want to faint or look back and think you looked too skinny. Although people kept telling me I looked too thin and my response was 'I'm the bride, I'm supposed to be emaciated!' Sick, I know.

I lost some but it wasen't a big deal because my fittings were very late.
But a good friend lost a ton right before and definetly didn't need too and she looked like butt in her dress because it looked three sizes too big. She had it fitted a month prior to her date.
She had a big princess MonCheri gown and it looked like it would slid right off of her.

I'm having my fittings as we speak...meaning it's in a series of four possibly five...had my first two weeks ago...my second is this Thursday...and will go on every two weeks until it's perfect, or until the wedding arrives.

Thank god I didn't loose any in my bust! Still a 'D', so I'm not worried about sewing in cups (the designer had to actually raise the neckline of the dress because there would've been a peep show since my 'girls' would've fallen out!).

What's funny, is that in times of stress, I usually eat (ie. final exams, studying), but I guess that I was sitting around reading, memorizing...now I'm running around.

Gosh no wish that happened to me. You do need to start remembering though don't want to get yourself sick for you wedding or exhasted from lack of vitamins.

no i could never forget to eat. but i did sleep less, and as a result was sick for my whole honeymoon. so definitely do something about it b/c trust me you don't want to be miserable on your honeymoon!

I actually gained 5 pounds from the last fitting to the wedding!!! lol I was having such a great time going out to lunch with people while we were on wedding errands...

but be careful...b/c I couldn't sit in my dress without it being uncomfortable...

Kathy - I am a stress eater but I lost 5 pounds in the week before the wedding!!!

Please take care of yourself and definitely set a timer and remember to eat. We can't have you sick for the wedding!!!

Trust me, at Flowerfield you will eat. Joette will make sure of it!

didn't forget to eat, but forget to pay some bills. came back from the HM to discover that the phone company had shut the service off

I could NEVER forget to eat (oink oink), BUT I did forget everything else. I forgot when I made plans with people and they would call me to ask where the heck i was. Not like me at all!

I did loose weight.. my seamstress had told me for 2 years that all brides loose weight the last week, so she didn't want to put the zipper in till the last minute. I went on Wed. before my Sunday wedding and she put in the zipper.. I was to pick it up on Friday- and I had lost another 3 pounds (who does that?) and the top didn't fit me right! Totally didn't have time to eat b/c I wasn't as organized as I hoped! I'll never do that again! I've gained it all back though
