ASH WEDNESDAY!!! Who's getting them??

Me and my Dh are going after work today. My Dh was like do we have to? I said Yes we Have to!! LOL..I know he gets mad because whenever we get our ashes, somehow he always winds up with the largest amount on his forehead..and mine is always small. I think its funny, cause he knows he cant touch it..

probably not.... i'm so horrible! i havent gotten ashes in years

Yeah I told DH we are going to Red Lobster tonight for some fried flounder!! SInce there is no meat today!

i am going at lunch. dh belongs to a different church- but he's really catholic- just doesnt agree with a lot of the tennets- so I will probably share some of my ashes when I get home

In my church they have ashes in the back that you can put in a little envelope to bring home

My church does this as well.

I got mine but doubt dh will get his...he feels all his years of catholic school have redeemed him of his need to continue going to church

DH is most likely going. I have to find a church near my office. Usually I just go to a service to get them. Can you just walk into a church and get them?

You can get them at St. Pat's. I think you're pretty close by. I usually go first thing in the morning, so I don't know how it is during the afternoon anymore, but they're pretty organized and the line usually moves quickly. I remember one year my friend and I went after work too.
