Attempt at a fun thread: as anyone ever told you you look like....

A) Someone they know?

B) A Movie Star/TV Star?

C) Someone famous?


I seem to have a face that people think they 'know.' This morning some kid comes up to me with his pants hanging off hid behind and pops me on the shouller HARD in that 'friendly I know you-whats-up' sorta way.

At the time i was bent over with my head in the Duane Reade fridge lol. I was buying ym Red Bul (but I digresss) so he just popped me, said 'hey' and kept walking. I straightened up and was like 'YO! WT* F!!!'

He looked shocked that I wasn't whatever big booty rap star grilfriend he thought I was.

This haappens to me pretty often.

I have been told I looked like:

-Halle Berry (BALONEY! :lol)
-Rosario Dawson (:hah I wish I did)
-soem really random obscure acterss in 'CRASH' (she played the mother and was on screen for all of 30 seconds.)


Anyone else?

I've heard a few:

1. Natalie Wood ~ from the older generations
2. That girl from 'That 70's Show' with the dark hair??? not sure about this one
3. Katie Holmes ~ don't see that one???

I don't anymore but I used to get Jennifer Connolly and Lara Flynn Boyle...... But when I'd get Jennifer Connolly it was before she was super-famous so I'd get, 'you know who you look like, the lesbian chick from Higher Learning!!!!'

Carol Burnett's daughter (I forget her name)

I also get 'do i know you from somewhere?'or 'you look JUSt like so & so' ALL THE TIME...

I think I just have a familiar type of face... or features..

Esp Kristin Davis, Anne Hathaway (though we have way different noses). DH will say Catherine Zeta-Jones (flattery gets him everywhere )
And some random woman in the supermarket recently told me I looked like Mary Louise Parker.

ACTUALLY, I used to get the OTHER girl from that movie... Maggie something. She was the little sister in Some Kind Of Wonderful... She's not very famous, but when she was I got HER all the time

It was the eyes... I have bugged out eyes like her. I got her alot when i was in college and had the bob cut hair. I always knew my hair was getting too long when people started calling me tori.

I don't think your eyes are bugged. You just have large eyes. 'bambi eyes' Gotta find kinder words to describe ourselves. I am embracing 'Curvaceous' for myself rather than 'WIDE LOAD COMING THROUGH'

hahaha oh no I have buggy eyes... I was called beaker at one point...when I was little.
