'Baby Proof' brings up another interesting issue

In this book, the main character, Claudia has a serious fight with her husband and she reveals that she is more affected by the fight because she believes that loves her husband more than he loves her.

This isn't one of those things that will ever be revealed by either party...but what do you think? Do you love your DH more than he loves you or do you think it's the other way around?

i think it depends on the day, lol!

i think we both love each other soooooo much but i've noticed that some days i'm more consumed by my love for him than others, meaning when i look at him or think of him my heart literally races or jumps etc. so on those days maybe the love i'm feeling is a bit more, but i know there are some days when dh can't get enough of me - calling non stop or cuddling, kissing me or asking over and over if i want anythng and staring at me lovingly. so on those days he might be feeling the love more than me, makes sense?

in the end, i'm happy with it all - i always said that i wanted to marry someone who'd love me as much as i love him because otherwise i think it could cause issues.

i think it depends on the day, lol!

for us it's more like it depends on the hour!

DH will wake up one day lovey dovey and want to cuddle and be girly and i'll be like get AWAY from me!

Then there'll be a time where i'm more sentimental and he'll throw rocks at me

all in all, i think we balance each other out...it's not always the same but i think that's what makes it fun!

i think that it may SEEM that i love him more bc i am more sentimental and emotional

I always tell him that he has no feelings LOL he can be emotionless

but i know that he loves me and i know he expresses himself in different ways. . .

same here. Pete is ntoa really demonstrative kind of guy. His way of showing love is makign sure I have a roof over my head and want for nothing. I am more of a cards and hearts kinda gal but there days when he wants to be all cuddly and Im just liek MOVE OVER THERE away from me buddy!

We balance one another.

I thought the same thing when I read the book. I was appalled that Claudia's husband Ben was so inconsiderate!

In my marriage, it is really a balance. We love each other to death!

it is def. equal for us!
in the beginning when we were first dating, he def. loved me more than i loved him. i just wasnt ready

but now, omg! soooooooooooooooooooooo in love! we love eachother equally!

same for me. dh never buys me a card or flowers, but he's more like as long you're happy with me, then i'm happy. he's also the kind of person that if i ask him to get me something, like ice-cream, at 2 in the morning, he'll get dressed up and go out to get it for me. i actually dont think i'd do that, i would probably say 'go back to bed, it'll pass'. but, to answer your question, it think it just balances out. there are days that i cant stand to be around anyone including him, but other days i love him so much it's overwhelming (same goes fir him)
