With all this baby talk on these boards the past few days, I was wondering how many kids everyone would like to have?. People think DH and I are nuts because we would like to have between 3-5.

Do you have any preference in having boys or girls?

I want girls, DH doesn't. I just remind him the pressure is on him

Two would be great. I think we could handle 3, but not sure yet. Who knows what we'll say after we have 1

DH thinks Im nuts. Im from a family of 6 kids and growing up it was awesome. Actually it still is.

I am not from a big family, just my brother and I, but I've always known I want to have a big family. Dh is one of 4 kids, so he likes big families too.

Who knows how I will feel after we have 2 but I doubt I'll want to stop there I want a boy and a girl.

Sometimes I wonder if I will have 2 boys, 2 girls, or boy and girl
Im privileged enough to have sisters and brothers. Boys having brothers is nice, and girls having sisters is nice too. I want my kids to have both thats probably almost impossible lol

I would love to have a big family - meaning 3-4 lol. DH wants 2 because of finances. He grew up with 4 kids in his family and he has said that he doesnt want his kids to have to share bedrooms or wear hand-me-downs. I guess I understand that.

I want my own TV show, so im thinking 20-25. By the time I get to #15, they prob just fall out anyway.. no pushing required

2, a boy and a girl. If we get 2 of one sex, they MAYBE we will try for another, but it depends on how old I am.

If money wasn't an issue I'd want 4-5 but I think DH and I are settled on 2-3.

Personally I want boys but I won't mind a little girl to spoil.

and after spending an hour with the newest little addition to the family (DH's cousin had a baby) my uterus aches! lmaooo

You will need to have at least 25 because you will have beat that woman Michelle on 18 kids and counting!

DH says 2, but I definitely want 3. I grew up in a house with three girls and i would LOVE to have the same thing, only because the three of us are SO close! However, DH really wants a son more than anything. So if I could CHOOSE, I'd say 1 boy and 2 girls (in that age order). Yup - that would be ideal for me

To quote my DH, we'll have 'two on purpose, three by accident' lol. I think I'd ultimately like 3. I am th oldest of four and had a lot of fun growing up with all those siblings.

Well one is already on the way...lol

We have talked about 4 already. We want a big family. I am 1 of 3 and it was always and still is to have a brother and sister. I want our kids to have each other when they grow old and were not around anymore. I would hate for them to be an only child and not have any siblings.

DH & I would like to have 2-4 children. It all depends on our financial situation. We really want me to be able to stay home with them until they are all in school for a full day. I think DH would really like to have three boys and then a girl. I have caught him recently looking at other men with their little girls, and he then tells me he wants a little girl. I think that is so cute.

we have a plan but who knows what will happen it all depends on money....

we want at least 2

if we have 2 girls or a boy and a girl we will probably stop....maybe we would adopt a third if its something we can do financially....

if we have 2 boys we think we would want to adopt even more so we could have a daughter....

adopting is an option for us either way it just depends on money i guess - and of course how much energy i have raising 1 kid is hard enough let alone 3 so its one of those things that you really dont know until you are doing it.....

id really like to have a daughter one day though so fingers crossed! but above all having a healthy child is most important....

I think we have a lot in commmon when it comes to babies...

We feel the same EXACT way as you .

DH grew up with a foster child in his house for many years who traved back and forth from Ireland. He was with Dh family for about 10 yrs. One when he went back to Ireland he was never heard of teh following summer. He live here may- sept and there with his Ireland family Sept-may. They think he may have died.....

SO, Dh is an only child and said we willl adort but have out own first G-D willing !

Well DH wants 2 and I want 3...I grew up in a family with 3 children and so did he. He said we'll see what happens when the time comes so I guess 3 isn't off the table! Only time can tell!
