Bad bad bride!

Sooooooooo.......262 days later, i still havent sent my TYs

I have about 15 more to write out but its much more overwhelming than i thought it would be. Silly me thought theyd be out a month or two later.

Anyone else dragging their feet w tys? Anyone got me beat???

he and hubby split ours. he didnt get his out till close to the one year mark. so u are good

ITA. I sent mine out 2 weeks after the wedding. But I also wanted to get them out ASAP.

Mine were all out by the 3 month mark but I really had to sit myself down and force myself to do it... But with two weeks to go before our anniversary, we FINALLY ordered our albums and video tonight... I feel like such a weight has been lifted off my shoulders... The after wedding stuff is definitely overwhelming!

Oh noooooo! U win lol


First it took forever to get the photo tys and we had about 200 guests and DHs handwritting is like chicken scratch and i didnt want him messing up our nice cards yeah, im a jerk. Finally just gave him a bunch and was like 'forget what i said......'

I was telling a friend and he was like 'oh crap, i thought i already got the thank u card'......maybe thats one less i have to write ahhhh glad i cant find a little humor in my post wedding task purgatory....

Goody two shoe bride

Did you have photo cards from your photographer. I wish we just printed or ordered our own instead of waiting for the proofs. Whatever, theres no excuse....i suck

I got mine out just under the 3 month mark. And the only reason why it took that long is I was waiting for them from my photographer AND when I did get them my MIL had just passed (I actually got the phone call they were ready when we were taking MIL off the ventilator)
Come on girls- no excuses- Just write out 15-20 a day and you will be done in no time.

Wow, I'm so impressed! I'm past the 3 week mark and I haven't seen a single picture from my photographer yet! I'm hoping to get the photos soon so I can order my thank you's and get them right out. I can imagine it's easy to lose steam when writing them all out.

I'm making it my goal to motivate me and DH to finish them this weekend. We have probably 15 more to do between the 2 of us.

I sent mine out like a week before our anniversary. Some of them I still have- the one's DH was supposed to write a personal message to his friends in. That's never happening.

I sent mine out at the 2 month mark...(and got Christmas cards out in between! )

But I have to say it was made much easier by my photog who had my Pics to me 4 days after my wedding!! Go Dan..

Just remember - better late than never!!!

I sent the majority of mine out around the 5 month mark and then we had another handful that were just trickling out. Since we sent out the last of them, we've seen people who have said to us, 'Your thank you card photos were beautifuL!'

And that reminded me that people really do appreciate it no matter what.
