Bad office karma!
A true story, or why I should have stayed in bed this morning:
Was just in the kitchen heating up some soup for lunch. 'Twas one of those containers with the plastic lid with the holes in the top, not very sturdy, I know. So halfway there some chick comes in to use the microwave and she's waiting behind me. My soup gets done, I go to take it out and it starts spilling. I am burning my hand and my lunch is rapidly going anywhere and everywhere BUT my mouth. Miss Thing starts YELLING 'oh! you're spilling! You're SPILLING! you're MAKING A MESS!'
Wha'??? My hand is going to require bandages and ointment and I'm going to be starving for the rest of the day and you're worried about the f'in floor?!? I couldn't even think of anything to say so I just put the soup down, wiped the floor with some paper towels, salvaged the remaining soup and stalked back to my office.
Little wretch. I hope the floor was still slippery and she ended up with her a$$ on the floor and her lunch on her head.
