Bad wedding guests?

Did anyone have a really bad wedding guest?

I don't think we had anything too outrageous, we got lucky!

No, but I did have an annoying GM who is selfish and tried stilling my thunder and also taking the mic from the DJ and going nuts with it (he is a DJ too).

Yes! I know I've mentioned this before but you're new to the boards so it's technically not repeating myself. My friend from college and BIL got so wasted they hooked up on the dance floor. And I am NOT talking just making out. It was so gross. At one point I turned around and all I saw were her legs wrapped around him. This is what people remember most about my wedding, I still have people asking me about her. To make it worse she lives out of state and she was staying at another friend of ours parent's house and she went to their house after the wedding that way! I heard they were livid. On top of that, she didn't even give a gift.

Unfortunately, no. I wanted to use it against her so she'd get herself help. She gets this drunk often. I think they edited it out because all you see are bits and pieces in the background of her ridiculous behavior.

Well he tried to convince her to come back to his hotel room which would have worked except for he's piss as$ broke and had to share a room with his mother, haha. She went back to my friend's parent's house alone but extremely intoxicated and apparently did not make a good impression on them because they refused to drive her to the airport the next day. They told her if she walked out the front door and made a left she'd eventually find the train somewhere.

she does have a year to give a gift.

I didn't have any bad guests at my wedding at all. I didn't really expect to though because my wedding was fairly small with only my closest family & friends. Barely anybody brought any dates that I didn't know either, maybe only a few. So the fact that we all have a strong relationship with one another (and none of them are crazy alcoholics) it would be very strange for anything embarrassing to happen.

In my own opinion though, a 'bad wedding guest' is somebody who comes without a gift or even just a CARD to say congratulations. That's kind of hurtful. I had a couple of those. Each one of them had claimed to have 'forgotten' it and told me they'd mail it over to my house, but of course never did.

So all in all - nothing horrible. Just a couple rude ones.

We recently went thru our wedding gifts. we had one person who said they forgot it, but they actually did sent it to us! and one person who asked me at the wedding where we were registered, so I would assume something is coming (turns out he sent me an email before the wedding but I never saw it because I was so busy). But I had two people who didn't give even a card (a close friend and a family member!) and we already said something to one of them because we are afraid that they actually gave something and it was lost. But also a part of me thinks that they actually didn't give anything, even a card.

My wedding was pretty mellow lol No out of control peoples. I think DH's cousin who was in my BP was the most plastered and my FIL. He was hanging on me at one point, drunk, and almost ripped my veil out of my head lol

I wish it was crazy and I had some drama, b/c then it would've made for some awesome pictures that I could use later as blackmail! lol
